Before Your Visit

Prior to booking your appointment, please read through the below list of Pre-cautions. We take your health and safety extremely seriously and will do everything we possibly can to help create the dream cosmetic tattoo for you.

Medical

If you are currently undergoing any medical treatments or taking any prescribed medication it is advised when booking to note it with your artist to further advise the best process. Doctors advice may be requested in certain circumstances. For existing medical conditions the same process is recommended.

Please note:

  • We cannot treat if you currently have cancer or undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Once these treatments are completed a doctors clearance is recommended
  • Any recent facial surgery or procedures is recommended to have a doctors approval
  • It is advised to cease fish oil or any known blood thinning supplements 1 week prior to the treatment
  • If you are taking any sort of Roaccutane it is recommended to wait 6 months after your last dose to book an appointment
  • Please notify Sarah if you have any allergies

Pregnancy

Please note that we cannot tattoo any clients while they are pregnant, therefore you will need to take this into consideration when booking your appointment as a touch up session is required 4-8 weeks after the procedure.

If you are currently breastfeeding, please contact us to further outline the best process. It is not recommended to proceed with the treatment.

Your Skin

It is important to be aware of your skins health, additional treatments you may be undertaking and your at-home skincare regime.

Please note:

  • Topical Vitamin A or Retinol – Please cease use 2 weeks prior
  • Botox and/or Fillers – If it is in the treatment area, wait 2 weeks to make an appointment
  • IPL and/or Laser – Please cease 4 weeks prior
  • Cold sores – Treatment cannot proceed if you currently have a coldsore. Seek medical
    advice prior to prevent as cosmetic tattooing can stimulate breakouts.
  • Skincare – Avoid the use of products with AHA’s 1 week prior.

Treatment Prep

Please read through Cosmetic Tattooing Pre-Consideration prior to your appointment.

Please note:

    • Avoid caffeine or alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment
    • It is recommended you wash your hair prior to your appointment as the treated area must
      remain dry anywhere between 5-10 days
